A 20-year-old Viking Princess 75, repainted rather than replaced

The brief
This Viking Princess 75 had been kept to an impeccable standard since leaving the factory twenty years earlier. The owner faced a familiar decision: replace the yacht, or restore the one they knew. Their attachment to its classic lines made the choice clear, a full exterior repaint to better-than-new condition, with the original character intact.

The yacht left our yard with deep, even gloss and crisp lines. The owner and captain described her as feeling new again, without losing anything that made her theirs.

How we delivered it
Surface preparation
Every exterior surface was stripped back, removing two decades of coatings, salt, and weathering to establish a sound foundation for the new finish.
Repairs
Areas of wear and weathering were brought back to a perfect base condition using marine-grade materials, addressing both visible and developing issues.
Full repaint
Hull and superstructure were repainted with high-grade marine coatings, applied in multiple layers for an even, protective, deep-gloss finish.
Quality control
Across the 90-day programme, surfaces were inspected at each stage to hold the finish to the standard the owner expected, built to last.
